Simple tags under each event
I would add small tags that indicate what type of event it is, so then I can choose the ones that I like the most. It has this bar on top that lets me filter, but I would prefer to see all events at once with tags underneath, so then I can look at multiple types of events at the same time

Email sign up form for weekly updates
I would add a simple email sign up form so then the visitors can sign up here and receive relevant events to them every week But it should be filtered though – I don’t want to receive email about events that I’m not interested in, so maybe users can choose what types of events they want and they can get those on an email
